‘Violet Light’ takes the listener into a journey of transcendence, an endless search for meaning. The alternation between two chords without a resolution represents an eternal journey. The deep double bass and high soaring violin create a pattern of contrast between darkness and light, making an allusion to life itself.

We are presented here with a beautifully eclectic downtempo electronic remix by UK RareNoise label founder Eraldo Bernocchi, ‘Violet Light’ is the next single from the remix project to Violeta’s debut album AUTOVIA, produced by Youth and originally released on Painted Word Records. Eraldo is an Italian composer, producer, guitarist and sonic sculptor, and has organized and performed several special events for H.H. The Dalai Lama in Italy.

It's her music, and this is what intrigued me since the very first time I attended one of her concerts. She bends categories like classical, modern contemporary, electronic, experimental and shapes new sound territories. Violeta Vicci is a multifaceted, contemporary artist and musician exploring and bridging genres from Classical to Improvisation, Ethno Avantgarde, Ambient and Multi-layered Electronics. Violeta has collaborated with an eclectic array of artists such as Thom Yorke, Elbow, Jonsi (Sigur Rós) amongst others.
